My teacher in my sophomore and junior year of high school pushed MLA formatting on me a lot so I knew most of the old rules coming into college. I usually couldn’t remember off the top of my head what came in which order in the header what came after my name, so in high school I tended to just look at my previous papers and base it off of those. When I got into my senior year though they changed some things when they came out with the MLA 8 and so I didn’t know what the order was for the citations and I tended to just use citation machines online. My typical errors though were usually the order of the name, professor, class, and date. I also usually messed up and the order on how to put the date in. I would put it in November 28, 2018 instead of 28 November 2018.
